One of the pipes above the water heater had a leak. So that explains the water seeping into the carpet in the bedroom and dripping underneath. Thanks to God that it is fixed!
Ugh! Am so sorry to hear of your soggy carpet. It's so frustrating when things break, etc, especially when you've just moved in. Glad to hear it's fixed & hope all the kinks are out.
