Camping

The girls and I met my Auntie Deb and cousins SJ and Emily for an all girls extravaganza at Lesser Slave Lake (which I use to think was soo far north). Surprisingly Z was the first one to brave the water but then once E got up the nerve she didn't want to get out. I had all sorts of cute observations to share but which of course have conviently fled what little brain I still seem to possess. Suffice to say we had a really good time and are looking forward t making it an annual event. I'm not looking as forward to emptying out the trunk as I rebelled against my Mother and didn't do it all last night there remains a sandy mess to sort out. Am eating blueberries and drinking coffee for breakfast and feeling bluer than the berries.

I miss you too...I often think of you and the girls and what summer adventures we'd be having...

Your Mother does have some obsessions that are useful at some times. The lake looks and sounds great.
