Slipping through my fingers

Well getting up at 6am didn't work because I was already up, unfortunately since 3am. Zoo and Jane Austen were tag teaming. Zoo especially was not a happy camper. I believe I witnessed her first temper tantrum last night. She did not want to be laid down in her crib. She wanted to be held and preferably I should be walking around. This lasted a good hour and a half and then Jane Austen woke up and I tried putting Zoo back down again and she went down with a murmur. Jane Austen was pacified with a bottle of chocolate milk. And instead of exercising I went to bed and darling daddy got up with the girls a couple of hours later and I got to sleep into 11:00. I think it is the first time in three years that I've slept in so long. I have to say it was fantastic.

There have also been other complications. My sciatica which had been silent lately has been preaching at me the last 3 days and I've been pushing the aspirin and ignoring it. But I do so at my folly. This isn't something I can push through; because believe me I've tried. So I have to take a step back from THE PROGRAM, which seems so lame because the rest of me is really getting into it. But give myself a few days rest and modify a bit of the program and I should be able to get back to it soon enough.

Don't be discouraged!

I keep finding a million excuses not to get into shape, but the more disgusted I become, the more motivated I feel. I'm not sure if that's sick or just practical.
