Talking

On the Grey's Anatomy episode that I watched last night Cristina gets attitude from Colin for asking Preston a question to which she already knew the answer. In this dance we play with our men how do we know what to say and what not to say?

Shall we not say with our companions? It is the nature of the exchange and an expression of our faith. Gender should not enter into it.

yes, sorry how heterosexualcentric of me. Really I mean our partners.

What I'm wondering is how much like Cristina do we say to our partners to make them feel better, to make the relationship run smoother vs the straightforward truth.

Truth can be good.
So can kindness and compassion and common sense!

Do I look fat in these pants??

Odd that you took my comment for heterocentricality (???). I guess what I meant was that the movement is always between and around any pairing. Unlike a dance, in a relationship there is no leader, no stronger partner...just balancing weakness and give and take. The goal is to make something better with the pairing and truth is rarely black and white.

Enough of the philosophy...how the heck are ya Carla? I made a pre-mother's day gift for Leslie with pictures of Zak. You should check it out: http://moreblaze.blogspot.com
