Like Julie I've been walking around a lot lately composing posts in my head but never making it to the keyboard before they dry up and blow away.

The MONKEY has been so clingy. She will hold out her hand and say GO and then lead me in the direction she wants to go (releasing my hand as soon as she has my compliance). Once we have reached the easel/wading pool/sink I'm expected to stand beside her and watch her activity with actute attention. If she senses that I'm drifting or have picked up something to read or have started cleaning she comes over to me holds out her hand and the process continues. If I fail to follow the screaming, rolling on the ground, gnashing of teeth, rending of clothes and girding of sackcloths begins. Oh did I mention throwing things and if said object failed to gain my attention it may be picked up and brought closer before being tossed again.

I've spent a lot of time lately giving her my undivided attention which garnered a marathon session this afternoon of bouncing MACAMOGI AND CHEESE back and forth, saying it in many delightful ways. It is such times that make me happy to be a stay-at-homer.
